We use advocacy in small ways in our personal lives every day. We find friends, family or co-workers who agree with an idea we like, or we try to convince those same people to embrace and support an idea, to move it forward. It’s when we find an idea that needs institutional or legislative support that we start to see everyday advocacy turn into “Advocacy.” These beginnings come in all sizes and types.
Join us to hear personal stories, challenges and successes, and learn how people reach out when they’re looking to engage a wider audience and make a difference institutionally or legislatively.
